obit as follows:
George M. Gawrys, age 62 of St John, passed away Wednesday, December 71, 2008. He was the beloved husband of Beverly (nee Kudlo) for 41 years; loving father of Rob Gawrys and Shari (Thomas ) Dorsey; cherished grandfather of Andrew, Emily, Collin, Chloe, Sean, Shane and Sage. devoted son of Virginia (Gen) Barney and the late Joseph Gawrys; dearest brother of Barbara (Frank) Paul, Carol (late Geno) Kaczmarzewski and the late Sandra Griffith; dear brother-in-law of Roger Griffith, Kathy Kudlo and Karen (Dan) Strader; found uncle of many nieces and nephews.
George was a Precinct Committee Person for the Lake County Democratic Party. He was a member of the Planning and Advisory Board for the Town of St. John.
Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Scherevelli.
