Fallen Graver

Sadly, Robert C. Peurifoy has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

The life of a person is more than the dash between two dates.

Friends, you are invited to visit the memorial pages for our Children. Nathan D Peurifoy died unexpectedly in October 2014 at age 26 from a diabetic coma.
In July 2019 we suddenly lost our daughter Rebekah Ann Peurifoy at age 34 from a pulmonary embolism. We miss them both. They were our hope and joy

Requests for transfer are currently only being covered with Find a Grave guidelines.

It is my hope that the memorials which I create or manage can make the individual's life fuller, even if just linking to family members or adding a few tidbits of information. Researching and including other family information makes them more than graves, they are people. Suggestions are welcome but please submit them using the edit button at the upper right corner of each memorial.
Even when transcribing cemeteries I work to link other family members.

I began working with Find a Grave as a genealogist working on a small family with the name Peurifoy. There are less than 400 of us living today. I was in the work and was able to list many of the known deceased before there were many working with F-G.
Today my work is sporadic, except for an occasional flurry of activity.
I'm not about numbers. I just had the opportunity and time to work on this project.

On my paternal side, I am interested in the Peurifoy, Purifoy, Purefoy, Scott, and Suther families.
For my maternal side are Staton's, Stiller's, and Moore's (from Stanly and Anson Co's NC).
My wife is from the Byrd and Carr families of Duplin County, NC.
Thank you all for your prayers, friendship, and care. It is appreciated.
You are also invited to visit the memorials of my grandmother Lillian Scott Peurifoy, my mother
Hazel Staton Peurifoy and Father Robert Eugene Peurifoy.

Photos of graves are free to use. However, personal photos of individuals are copyrighted by this writer and can only be used on other sites by written request via email (not "public messages on my personal page) and acknowledgment of original owner of the photograph.

Thanks to all who help with my typo, mistakes, and incorrect links. I could not accomplish this without your help.
