Hi Jerry, I'm hoping you can help me with your amazing obituary resources on this old San Diego family, with an interesting history, that lost their only son, a naval airman, in the SW Pacific in December 1943. Where any of them are buried is unknown presently. The son's memorial # is 145766659, and both of his parents are linked to it. Logically, they should all be buried somewhere in San Diego County, hopefully obits will show where.

RE: Thomas Saunders
Thank you Jerry! That all sounds about right except I'm not sure about the spelling of my grandmother's name (with an "I).

Sarah Ogilvie was my childhood best friend, my only best friend! I mean i do have my sister and fiancÚ but Sarah was my one and only best friend, EVER! Ive lost contact with the family, since i moved away to Massachusetts in 1994... sad she passed less than a year after i moved, no choice being 11 & all. So i wasnt able to go to the wake or funeral... ive always wanted to visit her, but being 3,000 miles away it hasn't happened. So thank you for letting me visit in spirit! When i found this by chance, looking for the cemetery phone#, so my boss who is in san diego for a week could find her plot to take a pic for me... there it was! Easy to find and no doubt her! You have given me some closure, i can't thank you enough! T
Sarah's best friend,
Guen Caputo

Mr. Casper J. Anderson

Thanks very much for taking the photo of Mr. Anderson. Seeing the gravestones of the soldiers my dad fought beside really helps me connect with his service. Very nice photography too. I like the view of his grave that shows its location in the cemetery. Best Regards, James

Thank you.
Jerry, thank you for photographing my aunt's grave. I live in Texas and I don't often get out to California. It is comforting to be able to see her actual grave site. Beth
