Bio Photo NOTE:

Updated 8/15/2014

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

I will not be on the site daily--illness in my family. This is but a hobby--my family comes first.

I am also having internet connection problems (intermittently), so corrections will get done as soon as I am able, but within the allowed time limits.

I have been dealing with chronic health issues for many years, and I am always playing "catch up." I try and do the best I can. If I post a photo to one of your memorials, and you are not satisfied, feel free to submit a photo request and wait for another graver to fill it.

I DO NOT link to "Burial Unknowns." This is a graves registration site, not a genealogy site, and I will not link to any burial listed as Unknown.

Per administrator Mark (9/21/2012):

"Admins won't knowingly link any memorial to a memorial of unknown disposition. We should not expect you to link them either."

I do not give permission for my photos uploaded to this website to be posted on any other website (and that includes and is not limited to Ancestry.com). Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere (on other sites) would be a violation of copyright, and a violation of Find A Grave's policy as well. Ancestry (of which I am not a member but do check from time to time) provides a link feature for you to add a link to Find A Grave memorials. Please read the Ancestry Terms of Use regarding copyrighted photos. Stealing them from here and uploading them there can result in the loss of your account there, with your money non-refundable.

REMEMBER: Just because a picture is on the Internet doesn't mean you are entitled to it!

Also, when requesting transfers, submitting corrections, etc., please use the EDIT tab in the upper right hand corner of the memorial. That way, I get all the links and can do them easily. If requesting a transfer, PLEASE state the relationship to the person you are requesting. I am related to many of the people for whom I created memorials, and I need to know this. Also, do not post correction or transfer requests on my page here--I probably won't see them, as I get many messages a day--and the EDIT tab is the correct procedure to use. Thanks in advance.

That horrible day that Detroit flooded, was the day my son had promised to take me to Trinity and Woodmere. We hadn't watched the new reports and had to take many detours. The cemeteries muddy, but I didn't know when he would be able to take me again so we tried our best. With us was my 84 year old friend Libra Cramer (nee: Nappo) Sam's sister. She told me his name really was Salvatore but everyone called him Sam. I am going to get more information from her. Need correct spelling of name and full dates of events instead of just years. I have found your name many times. You are doing an awesome job. Thanks for the concern. Carol

Louis Purol and daughter, Arlyn
Thank you so much for going out to the cemetery and looking a second time for Mr. Purol's grave marker, and for creating a memorial for his little girl. Few people would have invested the extra time and effort that you did. I really appreciate your help.

Best Wishes,
CarmasKid

I have been searching for my maternal grandfather's brother George Phillip DeWest. He searched his entire life for his brother. I believe this George is my grandfather's brother. Do you have any other information?
Sincerely,
Pamela Seroka

I just wanted to say thank you for posting the picture of my husband's grave. He was cremated and most of his remains were buried with his father in Mount Carmel Wyondotte Garden. It is a form of closure to see the grave and now maybe I can begin to heal. ... Thank You from the bottom of my heart!
