Bio Photo I had worked as a Home Health LPN for 13 years. Worked at Fulton State Hospital for 17 years as a Psychiatric Aide and as Mail Room Supervisor. Later worked as a Homehealth LPN in the field for a few years then in the office. Enjoyed this, especially the patients who were mostly elderly. Enjoyed all my jobs.
I am retired now. Have three children,12 Grandchildren and 2 greatgrandsons, Ryan and Anthony.
Three spoiled dogs who own us, Rocky, a Beagle Mix, Callie, a Chiweinie (Chihauhau and Dachsund mix) and Roscoe who is a Butterball Chiweinie, as big around as he is tall.
I like to walk thru cemetaries and have been doing my family tree, along with two of my sisters, for the last few years.I have three sisters and I am the oldest. My parents are deceased, my father for 33 years and my Mom for 6 years. I really miss her
I enjoy reading, crocheting, embroidering and quilting, especially baby quilts.
I really enjoyed walking through the cemetaries until my arthritis and asthma got worse but am going to try to start again in the fall, I also have allergic asthma so have two things that make it hard.
I think Find a Grave is a wonderful site and believe it is very important and is rewarding. If I have anyone that you would like transfered I will be glad to.

Letitia Perkins
I appreciate you adding the information I discovered to Letitia's site. Once I discovered her full name, I was happy to find your memorial of her grave. The lives of so few African Americans are documented. Thanks again.

Peter Williams was born in Ky in 1806 according to the 1850 census for St. Genevieve Co., Mo.

He was an early Baptist preacher

He died in 1859 according to Eld. Benjamin Leach says of him: "I assisted Bro. Peter Williams in organizing five Baptist Churches and in ordaining four ministers of the gospel. He died in Osage County. I saw him a few days before his death--he was cheerful and said he was waiting for the Lord to call him home."

Also: A History of the Baptists in Missouri by R. S. Duncan. "PETER WILLIAMS--was a younger brother of the pioneer, James Williams, the first moderator of Franklin Association. He moved to St. Francois up into Franklin County, about the year 1850, and became pastor of three churches in Union Association. He was a poor man and worked hard to support a large family, but was nevertheless an acceptable minister and had good success. Eld. Benjamin Leach says of him: "I assisted Bro. Peter Williams in organizing five Baptist Churches and in ordaining four ministers of the gospel.

If you mean Henry Volney Roberts? Oh yes - he is related somewhere in there. It's all a very confusing mess, as you know. *L*

Isaac Davis Barnett
Are you related to Isaac Davis Barnett?
I have a Joseph R Barnett whom I believe had a brother named Isaac Barnett. Joseph R Barnett lived in McMinn County, TN. He was born 1827. I have never found the smoking gun so to speak of his parents. On a list of Probate records when Robert Smith ( father in law of Joseph) died in McMinn Co, TN appears an Isaac Barnett. also in the census of 1850 there is an Isaac Barnett b. 1825 who appears to be the right age to be a brother. In McMinn. Was wondering if you could help..

Charles Lehman, memorial # 62094005, buried at Forest-Llewellyn Cemetery in Kirksville, Adair County, MO. Is my great Uncle and is linked to the incorrect Mary Ann Lehman (my great grandmother). If you would please transfer management of his memorial to me, I will correct this.
