Bio

I have been an avid genealogist for 25+ years. Names I am researching are McDanel, McDaniel, McDonald, Jackson, Hayden, Poe, Hopper, Farris, Jones, Crane, Harp, Polsgrove, Crawford, Ables, French, Webb, Mitchell, Seay, Six, West, and Dodge - just to name a few.

I have been in awe of the dedication of the folks and the numbers of memorials entered by the people with whom I have been in contact. I hope to live up to the high standards set by those who came before me. I really love what this site is all about! Special thanks to ALL of the contributors!

Also thanks to all that send updates for my entries. They are always appreciated and also any duplicate notifications that I might have inadvertently entered. I always research the name before I enter anything but sometimes I slip up or the real name is different (maybe I am missing the first name or a different married name). So don't hesitate to point it out to me - I want to get the right information in the system.

I am especially interested in receiving maiden names for additions. These are so important for finding female family members. Even though their maiden name may be mentioned within their memorial, the user cannot retrieve that record on a Name Search unless it is actually displayed in the maiden name area.
