Luxembourg American Cemetery Photos Thanks so much for posting the great photos of the grave markers of 2Lt Gardiner, 1Lt Jones, Sgt Kemp, PFC Lawson, and 1Lt Rion. I apologize for my late response but I've been out of town for a couple of weeks. May I use the photos on their web pages on Clemson University's Scroll of Honor web site (http://cualumni.clemson.edu/scrollofhonor)?
Arthur Unser My mom thanked you for the photo of Arthur's name at the Memorial, but since I made the request I wanted to thank you as well. We really appreciate it! It is nice to see his name memorialized.
Sgt Michael J Herberholz Jr Mr D, Twice in one week, you've fulfilled photo request for me. I don't know this man or his family whose photo you took, Sgt Michael J Herberholz. His family put a memorial stone in Downing Cemetery, Wheatland Twp, Michigan, USA and from the inscription a person could almost feel their pain. I thought that looking up the burial information in the cemetery he was actually buried in, was the least I could do for what he and his family did for us. Thank you very much for taking part in completing this task. I'm sure that since you travel around to military cemeteries you must get feelings for what the lives of the service personnel and their families went through no mater what country they fought for. Norman Kraus Mr D, I really appreciate the photo you took of Norman Kraus in the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery. He was a member of my wife's family. I looked at your Bio and your web site and have to say that for an amateur photographer your work looks very professional. You're doing a great job of helping families honor the memories of our fallen hero's. Thank You. Robert Yarrington
Louis Garramone Mr. D....Thank you so very much for taking the time to photograph Louis Garramone's headstone for me. I appreciate it so very much! Mr. Garramone has been very illusive in the family tree and you have provided the final link. Thanks again! Sincerely, Lisa Harrington
Cecil Verboort photo Thank you sooo much for adding the photograph of Cecil Verboort's tombstone in the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery & Memorial in Italy, Mr D! I've never seen the memorial (I live in the USA), so it was very touching to see my Grand Uncle Cecil's name on the monument. Thank you so much! Lorrie Verboort
