|Hi I am Janice Klafehn. I am 3rd generation native of Vista California. My great grandparents, Maria Hauret and Jules Delpy immigrated to California from France in the early 1890s. They were married in 1894 In Los Angeles. They settled in Vista when there were only 7 families there. They had a ranch a winery "Buena Vista Winery" and they opened the first school. I became involved in genealogy while chasing the family. Names include Amestoy, Achin, Delpy, Hauret, Itzaina, Klafehn, Royere|
If you have any corrections on my submittals or want to arrange for a transfer of ownership, please contact me.

Hello again, I am requesting the transfer of this memorial of my grandfather. I have sent several messages and have not heard back. Are you still contributing to find a grave?

I just discovered this website. Thank you for creating my nieces' page. (Aakyra Rene Miranda)

Thanks for responding so quickly Janice. I contacted the member as you suggested (why didn't I think of that?) to try to get the link removed. Cheers.

|Carrie Blocker-Robson||Charlotte Turland Ratledge|
I don't know if you would like to add this information to her memorial.
Charlotte's correct year of birth is 1862. The only child listed in the England 1861 Census is her sister Anna Marie. She appears in the 1871 Census as the second child (age 9) to William and Mary (Kendall) Turland. The England and Wales Free BMD lists her born in 1862. She was baptised in Faxton, Northamptonshire, England on October 16, 1864 with her brother Herbert.
Thank you in advance,
|Norman Herman||Benjamin Franklin Peirce|
Dr. Peirce was born 2/3/1835 in Waterborough, ME, was an 1860 graduate of Harvard Medical School, commissioned Assistant Surgeon US Navy 1/24/1862, and drowned on active duty 3/9/1864. He served on the USS Conestoga, USS Black Hawk and USS Louisville.
His name is inscribed on a memorial plaque at Harvard Medical School for those men of the Medical School who died in the Civil War.
Hope this helps.
|Linda Wells||Arthur Ully Richards|
Hi Janice, Arthur U. Richards is my Grandfather and there are a couple of mistakes on his obituary page. Don Carlos was born in 1862 and Wayne L. Richards is no relation but he has another daughter, Ruth Marie Richards Ringer Smith. (1917-1991) I am Lynn's daughter, Linda Wells Thank you so much.
|Leon||Elmer Morgan Herbert|
Janice, Today I photographed and uploaded the headstone photo of Elmer Morgan Herbert. Buried next to him is his wife Neva M. Herbert with both names on the headstone. There is no memorial page for Neva (who died in 1992). If you create one, I will upload the photos to it. Leon

This person's grave is actually in the Mt Carmel Wills Cem (near Randy's per map). Find A Grave#107489853 under Julia A. Shipley MArtin. I have photographed her marker.
|Clarence J. Geiger Jr.||Richard L. Wolf|
I have checked with Mount Calvary's published records and can not find a listing for the following:
Richard L. Wolf
Birth: Aug. 18, 1935
New York, USA
Death: Jul. 7, 1998
New York, USA
Do you have a correct cemetery?

Hi Janice Your message from February, just popped up in my inbox today 10/31/2015 ! You referenced locating my Great Uncles obituary - which is so exciting. I don't see in the message body any link or the list you mentioned. I have noticed the system is very slow today so maybe the message body is incomplete due to some technical issue??
Thank you so much for your research - I look forward to reading it.
