David Jackson Morrison in 1976. Born 1954. My lineage comes from Morrison, Lumsden, Peeler, Ashford, Whisnant, Candler, Epley, Edwards, Beam, Schrum, Williams, and of course more. But these comprise the more recent ancestor surnames.

My families mostly entered America via PA. That would be the Morrison, Peeler, Epley, and Whisnant lines. The Lumsden line might have come from VA, but I suspect they first arrived in PA. My Beam line came via Charleston, my Ashford line came through upper SC then Alabama. My Candler line contains Allen D. Candler, gov of GA from 1898-1902. I haven't checked into my Edwards or Schrum lines yet.

The Morrison, Lumsden, Candler, Ashford, and Williams lines met up in northeast Georgia. The rest all settled around the southern edges of the South Mountains in NC.
