Trying to make money off of someone. ..DECEASED! YOU ALL MAKE ME SICK! !! Get it off this sight NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

|E49||Linking Malfunction - Mem # 76239517|
While linking Porwoll relatives to one another, I had occasion to attempt to Link 76239517, Bernice Porwoll, to her husband 76239518, Clement T Porwoll, whom I had just submitted my 'auto e/c' to Link him to his parents only.
Upon submittal, the computer claimed there was a pending 'auto e/c' Linking 'spouses' and that I didn't have to submit 'another'. Having gotten this message once before some months back, I went back to Clement's memorial and followed procedure as if I were going to submit a Link from him to her and went to my 'just submitted' pending Link from Clement to his parents, going to my Contributor list of Submitted/Pending 'auto e/cs' and Deleted my pending Link from him to his parents.
I then went back and submitted a new 'auto e/c' to Link Clement to both his parents and his wife and the system accepted it.
My point is that the system claimed there was a pending Link between the spouses, when all I had submitted originally was the 'auto e/c' to Link Clement to his parents, which seems, in this Contributor's mind to be a programming error. The system should have noticed that I there was not only a difference in the submitted memorial numbers, but also a difference in the relationship(s), 'parents' vs 'spouse'.
Just though you would want to know... :-)
Thank you for all your diligent work at F-A-G, and consideration of my above 'malfunction' notification. Also, thanks again for your speedy reply and repair of the F-A-G Tombstone Logo problem during the last F-A-G/Ancestry software upgrade several weeks back.
May you and yours, and all the F-A-G staff enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends.
Always, in FindAGrave brotherhood,

|Linda S||Merge Memorials|
I created a memorial for John Mix # 126687691 in 2014. I got a message today from a family member, who says I created a double but she would like to have mine merged with the other if possible because it has more information. The earliest memorial is # 36254466 made in2009. I thought I would ask before I delete mine.

|Randell Tarin||Duplicate Memorial|
I have located what seems to be a duplicate memorial. The older memorial is incomplete and the manager has disabled messaging. The newer memorial is very well done and more complete.

Bell Run Cemetery
off of Route 44 at Myrtle Northwest of Shinglehouse
It is South-Southwest of Shinglehouse and South-Southeast of Myrtle.
If it was Northwest it would be by Ceres.

I talked to the cemetery people and they said his remains were reinterred someplace else

1. Is there any way to tell if a memorial contributor is active or not?
2. Are there procedures to transfer memorials if a) contributors become inactive or b) die?
3. When there are duplicate memorials, mostly those I notice with no biography, does the website eventually delete the newer one?
Thank you for your consideration.
|None to be Forgotten||Who to contact?|
I work on Find A Grave every day and have thus far entered almost 50,000 memorials. The thing I find most frustrating is not being able to find a contact for a certain question! What's the trick?
I was informed a couple days ago that over 165 memorials were created in the wrong cemetery because of errors in the county's records. Is there a way for Find A Grave to correct this (I can send an attachment of the list) or must each one be changed individually?
Thanks! -Cindy Kay
