|Bio and Links|
I fell into gravehunting naturally, having been into doing my family genealogy since high school. I had been seeking out the graves of my ancestors, and quite by accident, stumbled onto the grave of a Hollywood celebrity nearby. In my spare time, I love researching old Los Angeles, with particular interest in architecture, and love spending time with my wife and two teenaged children.|
I realize that many of the memorials I have created are for prominent personalities. I have not endeavored to write the biographies that they deserve, but I would welcome submissions to enhance the entries.

Thanks for rejecting the parental link recommendation for Sidney. With him having two virtual memorials for two locations with the other one already linked, your adding links in the biography is an outstanding technique! Cheers!

Anna Philips, it turns out, was buried at a cemetery in Culvert City, and was not cremated, as she was a Catholic, and cremation was not permitted at the time of her death. Do you have any pictures from the cemeteries in Culvert City?
|Glenn Bertram||RE: Ausburn|
You're very welcome.
|Connie Saculla||Richard Newmark|
I put in a photo request for Richard Newmark at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa Oklahoma and the person couldn't fulfill the request? The cemetery couldn't find Richard in their cemetery. I know how cemeteries have problems sometimes locating people. We have one here does the same.
Do you have any other source for him. Everything seem right he was in Tulsa.
Keep up the great work,

I too wish I knew where Claire and her husband Phil Cohen/Cohn/Conn were buried in Chicago. We visited and maintained contact in the early & mid 70s but I started medical school and then a trauma residency in the 80s and totally was out of contact when they died in the mid 80s. They had a beautiful home in a high rise on Lake Shore Drive. Claire was a sweet, kind and intelligent woman. Claire was a secretary for a district judge in Chicago and Phil had a wholesale liqueur distribution and his own band in which he was a drummer. No kids. Like many a fool, I never asked Claire about her family when I had the opportunity. You have done a fabulous job of taking photos of grave markers for the Grolls all over the place! If I find Claire I will let you know. Rita

I am assuming you are related to Charles W Groll, 1st wife Rose Karp and 2nd wife Jennie Goldstein. Any idea why Jennie is buried under her maiden name - nothing on her marker to indicate she was married to Charles. Isn't it likely Charles is buried at Mount Lebanon since both wives, parents and siblings are there? Nice portraits on the memorial pages. Claire Groll married my uncle Phil Cohn and died in Chicago. I'm just getting around to learning more about her family even tho I have been at genealogy for 45+ years. Rita

I have added a photo for William. It is not very good but hopefully someone will add a better one.

|Linda Davis||Lew Brice's memorial|
The memorial you made for Lew Brice was accepted as Famous today after I submitted with a bio. Thanks for making the original memorial. Please rank Lew's memorial when you have the time.
|Darren DePoy||Olga Korschel|
I wanted to ask you about an edit you sent me for Olga Korschel (132471649). You have her maiden name as Genrich. Where did you find that? I'm asking because her death certificate lists her fathers last name as Moellman.
