Bio Photo Taphophilia: a passion for and enjoyment of cemeteries.

I am in the process of photo-documenting Sts. Peter & Paul cemetery in St. Louis. If you are aware of errors in any of my entries, please let me know. PLEASE USE THE "EDIT" LINKS AND PROVIDE YOUR MEMBER NUMBER (located next to your name on your member page) if requesting a transfer.

PLEASE NOTE: Because I receive a lot of email, I typically do not reply when sent an edit - just check back in a couple days and you should see it. I usually make edits within a couple days. If it has been over a week, please resend as I may not have received it.

Please don't add death certificates that are readily available on-line to memorials.

In addition to adding my family, I enter other graves. I am always happy to transfer a grave to a family member, or to update the grave as requested.

Families I am researching for my family include Mueth, Heidenfelder, Bockius, Buehler, Danneman, Frank/Franck, Freymyer, Meurer and Zieger--primarily found in the U.S. in St. Louis and Southern Illinois.

My husband's last name is Torrence. For him I am researching Torrence, Findley, Watt, Comstock, Peterson, Norton, Brown, Bieth, Sentman, Ritchie and Sixbury--from all over the Northeast.

Please ask permission before posting my personal family photographs or biographical material I have written from my memorial pages on this site to or any other website or personal webpages.

RE: Leo Mandel
Dear Katie

Thank you so much for the transfer and thanks also for the newspaper clipping. I have also sent some updates for other members of the family, but Leo is my main interest since he was a dentist.

Merci encore.

RE: Anna Novotny
Request the Novatny burials in the cemetery be changed to Novotny to match your headstone picture. I noticed you added an Annie Novatny with no dates, so request that entry be deleted. This will enable duplicates be easily identified. Novotny has a number of different spelling variations, notably Nowotny (German spelling) and Novotni, however this is a first to see it spelled Novatny, but not surprising.

I looked at your memorial and the headstone really is a strange one. It appears it has four family surnames on one inground headstone. I am curious what the person who created the memorial had as a name, which you said had it misspelled. Probably the easiest thing to do here is for me to just delete my memorial altogether. Transferring yours to me would just create more problems.

Hi Katie,

Thank you for the information regarding Mr. Adzic. I have removed the record I created.
