Hi - this is my husband's aunt, Pearl Estella Johnson Musser, born in North Dakota - do you know who else is on this stone? We do not have the first name of her husband (Musser). Thank you, Judy

I deleted my memorial and transferred my photo of the gravestone to this memorial.

For Elizabeth Foster (Sec 107-106), I added her gravestone photo to Memorial #33597484.

If I created more duplicates, please let me know.

PS: this is my third cousin's families. She died around 1988 in her 30s and I'm trying to complete her research. I got detoured for several months, but want to finish this project this year.

Shaffer/Taylor
Hi,
Well, how about that. I had no idea that they put a previous married name on Laura Annie Taylor's grave. Why do some people do that? Drives me crazy sometimes. Why don't they put the name on the gravestone that somebody died with and not some previous married name?? Sigh. Or at least put both names? Some people choose to have their maiden name put on their gravestone where their middle name goes so you never can be sure if the middle name on a woman's stone is REALLY her middle name or if it is actually her maiden name or whatever.
Anyway, if you care to take another look at Laura's page Find A Grave #= 103279283 I added a funeral notice to her page that should help you see that I am not crazy or anything for putting her last name as Taylor. :-] She is in my Riverview Cemetery index as Annie Taylor and is not listed as Shaffer.
You can understand why some people want a previous married name on a gravestone if you look at it from Clifford's perspective. He may not have approved of his mother marrying this Benjamin Taylor and may have hated him and did not want his mother buried with that guy's name on her stone and since Annie had no children with Mr Taylor or anyone else that I know of all the more reason for Clifford wanting his last name on his mother's stone, right? But, as you know, that is all guess work on my part. That may be close to right or maybe it is completely wrong. Maybe Clifford wasn't even the one behind having his mother's stone made?? Maybe the stone cutter screwed up and did not look at his paperwork right and got the wrong name on the stone? You don't happen to have a time machine I could borrow do you? :-] I promise I would bring it back to you before you let me borrow it. Har har. Also, Annie is buried right by her mother and I see you added a picture of her stone as well. So, it looks like Annie and her mother both got stoned today. Yuk, yuk.
Nathan
