Hello Friends of Riverview,
Could I talk you into linking one of your find a grave memorials to a couple of mine? Please link Frank Melvin Wood (memorial 102019877) to his parents. His parents are George Dewitt Wood (memorial 118591947) and Ruth Helen "Nellie" (Bumpus) Wood (memorial 134713173).

May I have your permission to use your photo of Henrys gravestone? Memorial #119401759. Henry was my greatgrandfather. I would like to use as part of my family tree.

RE: Oliver William Carter
Yes I have her date of death: 27 July 1952 in Portland, OR. Her maiden name was Mae Ella Stanfield and her first married name was Pettyjohn who she divorced and then Carter. In the Marion County Probate Records I know that she was cared for as a child by the Catholic Sisters of Charity in Salem until she placed under the guardianship of Conrad Snowden on 26 Nov 1890 and she was listed as Mary and then referred to as Mae. Thanks for your help.

Oliver William "Nick" Carter
Hello! Nick Carter was the husband of my 2nd great aunt, Mae Ella Stanfield. My aunt Mae had previously divorced Delbert Pettyjohn and was Nick Carter's housekeeper. Nick Carter's previous wife, Mamie Adair Brown had passed in 1913 in Spokane WA. Mae Ella died in 1952 in Portland and Nick remarried in 1956 and then he passed away in 1960. My problem is I can't find Mae Ella's grave marker. I know (from my mother) that Nick would have been buried with Mae. When you photographed Nick's marker was there another marker close to him for Mae Ella? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, your #114600685 is a duplicate of mine,
Because yours has additional information I would like to copy the detail. Mine has information about her birth etc. Her husband was Arthur James Cooper, my Grandmother's uncle. They lived in Donald, Yamhill, OR. The 1910 census shows this information as well. Arthur James Cooper's sister's name was Catherine Phoebe Cooper Crary. In addition to my copying the information, I would like a transfer, if that is possible. Many thanks. Ann M.
My number is #47483560
