I so appreciate that you posted his death certificate. I found his birthdate on his WWI Draft Registration - Feb. 13, 1888. It is hard to tell if the one on his death certificate is correct or what he reported on his WWI draft registration. Either way, he was in his upper 20's, so I don't think he would have purposely lied about his age, to be able to serve during the war. Is it possible that his wife Agnes was incorrect? I see that his headstone has the 1888 designation. Again, thank you for posting the death certificate. I think it is important to keep it on the memorial. Hopefully, others will take the information and try to make sense of it.
