|Joe M. Madison||James Madison b1760 from SC|
Thanks Vivian for all the research and posting you did! :' )
I am related to Mary Madison Lindsey. Her brother was Leroy Madison. Leroy married Amos's sister Elizabeth Lindsey. So Abraham Lindsey's son & daughter, married James Madison's son & daughter. Refer to Wikitree.com http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Madison-132
I have been trying to find more info on James Madison born 1760, South Carolina. Your info on him, has been the only info I have found. Do you have more on him, or where did you find the information you listed?
I would like to find out if this James Madison is related to President James Madison, and or Captain Isaac Madison who served with Captain John Smith(Jamestown).
Yes the Hapster family is in our family line however the links I requested were children of Peter and Elizabeth Harpster which are my childrens 4th great grandparents. . Thank you for making the links I requested.

I may have some pics to enter yet, not sure as I got busy with summer and then fall hunting etc. Many of the children in the St. Thomas and I would imagine the rest of the cemetery do not have stones I am finding out as I worked with the manager there. Or there may be only a small square with an initial for the family name.
I need to get back into this but am fairly involved. I will try and remember to look for her grave. Meanwhile you can start a site for her and add pics and info to it and then I can add a photo of the stone if and when I find it. Then the site will also be in your care.

I'm so happy that you now know where she is, and can see her tombstone photo.

I have just located the Phelps Family Tree on Ancestry.com and they state above subject is buried in the New Bethel Cemetery, Pittsylvania Co., Virginia. James' mother was a Nix and I am researching the Nix's to publish a book for the family, my children are Nix's. Can you tell me if this is the correct cemetery for James, Jr.?
Write to me at email@example.com, Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! My wife is a granddaughter of Wallace's sister, Stella Angeline (Faulkner) Carvo. My father-in-law, Delbert Carvo, is the youngest son (second youngest overall) and only member of Stella and Joseph Carvo's family still alive.
I'm just getting started researching Stella's Faulkner line, but I have already amassed a fair amount of information, and a couple of family connections with other Faulkners in the midwest. I am always willing to share what I have, so don't hesitate to contact me if I can give you a hand.
I look forward to talking with you. -Ken
