Westlawn-Hillcrest Vets
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Marriage of Jonathan McKee
Hi Ginny,
Thank you so much for adding Jonathan McKee and the photograph of him and his wife Martha Wilson Sweat.
However, there is an error in their marriage date. Jonathan was married first to Martha's sister, Sarah Buck Sweat. She died in 1847 at Mt Pisgah. Jonathan married Martha on 15 March 1848 somewhere in Iowa or Nebraska.

RE: William Alfred Babb
Yes, I saw that and noted it in my descendancy -- I believe they had 6 children? Thanks.

Lourana "Lou" C Ryan Myers
Hi Ginny B,
I noticed you were related to the Ryan and Creekmore families. I was wondering if you
knew where Henry Ryan, brother of Lourana was buried?
Lourana was the 2nd wife of my Great Grandfather Joseph Henry Myers.
Thanks you, Betty

Hi Ginny,

I saw that you had left flowers on these memorials so, thinking you might be family to them, I thought I'd let you know that I have uploaded photos to these two memorials today.

Harold Andrew Smith
Hi again, Ginny. My husband is Janet Lindburg Smith's nephew, son of her older sister Charlotte. Janet's first son, Harold, died in Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington on 3 August, 1952. His baby brother died shortly after him on 7 August 1952. While his family had just been reassigned from Alaska the family is uncertain that the little ones would have been shipped back there for burial. So far I have been unable to find any records anywhere of their burial. Our research is on Ancestry and open to all. You are welcome to check it.

Harold Andrew Smith
I saw your entry for Harold Andrew Smith which said he was buried in Alaska. My husband, Leslie Allen Olson, is Harold's first cousin. While we know when and where he died we are unable to locate his burial place. Do you know where in Anchorage Alaska he is buried? What is your connection to Harold and the Smith/Lindburg family?
