I became interested in Find a Grave when our family started working on placing a Headstone on My Great Grandparents grave in Boston New York. I'm happy to say that was done Oct 30, 2008. A long over due project. I want to thank Kevin Enser who put me on to this wonderful site. I do encourage all to list their loved ones for yourself and future generations.. I did my first grave shoot Sept 19, 2007
Any picture requested in or around Fort Collins Co, I would be happy to do. Also any correction that are needed just let me know.
Chester Franklin and Bessie S. Baldwin Hello! Chester and Bessie are my paternal Grandparents. I am wondering if you are related to us as well?? I'm wondering if you would share your info with me on Chester's military time. I would so greatly appreciate it. Hope all is well with you. Mary Baldwin Doran
Hattie and James Haas Thank you for the information. I placed a flower on both memorials for your wife and son. You have a beautiful family. I also have relatives in Grandview My grandparents on both sides of the family (Paul J. Fleming and Annie B. Fleming and Charles R. Todd and Jeanette O. Todd) I was born in Fort Collins in 1947 to Dwayne R. and Dorothy L. Todd so I feel very strong ties to Fort Collins. Dad joined the Air Force in 1952 and we began our many travels through out the States and Europe. Erv and I paid Fort Collins a visit several years ago and spent some time in Grandview visiting family. It sure pulls at your heart. Also visited both grandparents homes, which are still standing and in beautiful condition. Thanks again and keep hunting ! Love this site !
Mary Martin Dawley Hi Jim, I found a census for 1885 in Larimer County that lists Charles Martin, age 29, spouse Mary M. Martin, age 25 and son Lewis Martin, age 3, so I am pretty sure that is our Grandview cemetery entries. I added a memorial for Mary Martin Dawley and linked her to Charles Martin. Her memorial number is 119641616 and requested a photo of her headstone as the cemetery information indicates she has one. Thank you for making this connection. The census was listed in the Family Search website if you want to look at it.
