Bio

I, Martha Jane Landers, was born July 22, 1950 to William Idris Jones and LaVon Elizabeth Safford at Burns, Oregon. My siblings are John 1946, Tom 1947-1981 , Earl 1948-2016, Mary 1952-1952, George 1953, Betty 1956, David 1960-2020. We were all raised in Hines and attended Hines Grade School and Burns Union High School. Our family attended Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Burns. I am the widow of John Hughes Landers and together we are parents of three daughters and one son. Children were born in Clarkston, WA; Soldotna, AK; & Pendleton. I have lived in Pendleton since 1978; where i spent 18 years as an institutional cook at Delamarter Care Center, Homestead Youth Lodge & EOCI as temporary food service worker during conversion from State Hospital. I retired from St. Anthony Hospital after nearly 25 years of employment in Dietary & Environmental Services.
I am a member of Pendleton First Presbyterian Church.
I devoted many years to family research gathering collecting and sharing with many cousins I met online along the way, several from overseas. I love to crochet and at one time made a lot of items with thread crochet but eyes forced me to switch to blankets, hats and scarves etc.

With loving memories of my parents, husband & siblings who have all received their Angel Wings... I miss you all very much.
