"Brave Diomedes", Hippolochus' son replied, "why ask my lineage? Like the generations of leaves are those of men. The wind blows and one year's leaves are scattered on the ground, but the trees bud and fresh leaves open when spring comes again. So a generation of men is born as another passes away."
Homer, Iliad, Book VI (760 - 710 BC)

Thanks for checking out my bio. I am a retired Engineer turned genealogist and WWII Army Air Forces historian. I have been researching my various family lines for many years and maintain a genealogical database of over 87,000 names, all related. I have met and reconnected with many new friends and distant relatives in my endeavors.

As a 460th Bomb Group (BG) historian and son of a former 460th BG member and prisoner of war I am especially interested in recognizing WWII airmen who served with the 15th Army Air Force, 460th BG's Headquarters, 760th, 761st, 762nd, or 763rd Bomb Squads. In that effort, in addition to adding grave, records, and person photos, I have established on Findagrave the publicly visible 460th Bomb Group virtual cemetery at Click Here and continue to add 460th BG airmen's memorials as I further my research. I've also created the following groups on Facebook to share information and foster communication: 1) 460th Bomb Group; 2) Willow Run - Ford's Army Air Forces Plant No. 31; and 3) Stalag Luft IV. I support Findagrave and many other genealogical-related organizations.
