Stephen Lloyd Bailey
Hi Rick. I see that you have posted 3 pictures of Stephen Lloyd Bailey, and I wondered if you were related to him? We are distant cousins, and if you did know him personally, I'd like to pick your brain. My email is Thanks in advance.

A Confederate Veteran
Dear Rick; I am working on a project. How do I get someone to transfer a Find - a - Grave Confederate Veteran to me.
Everything I see says go through the Edit key and that says something like $5.00 or $55.00 which I am not going to pay.
Please advise me.

RE: Simmons Family
You're welcome! A couple of them were under a big bush with heavy branches (and ants), but I did the best I could. ;-) I'm working on photographing that whole cemetery, so if you have any more requests there, I should have them filled eventually.

Dear Rick; Are you a descendant of William Rockwood. We are gathering some information on Confederates buried in Vicksburg City Cemetery. We are having trouble finding him in the Confederate Records. And yes, it is beautiful out there, My son lived in Seattle several yeas past and i visited 3 - 4 times. Sam P

Hi Rick,
I made all of the changes you put in. If the death date comes up as originally put, do another edit and I'll change it again. I did write to my friend and asked him if he would have a look the next time he's over that way. We'll see what happens. Keep up the good work. Irma

Hi Rick. Unfortunately, I live in Florida and I'm not able to go back to the cemetery. I have found many incorrect tombstones over the years so anything is possible. I will write to a friend who lives in the area and see if he will try rephotographing the stone, or at least if he can read what it says. He can also tell us if it's in the vicinity of the other stones. That will tell us a lot. I'll let you know. Irma

Thomas McCraw
Hi Rick,
Thanks for contacting me about Thomas L.R. McCraw Find A Grave Memorial. I believe that I was the one in error, I think that I have the families mixed up. I had that James Walker McCraw was Thomas' father instead of Samuel McCraw who is brother to James. I will rework this information. James Walker and Samuel McCraw and all their siblings are my 1st cousin 4X removed. You can contact me at
I removed my memorials.
