Lately I've been a little obsessed with adding names to the Washburn Street Cemetery in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I've found several ancestors buried there and then I read about the cemetery, I just couldn't help but want to add to it.
(I'm adding this info based on both Death Certificates and obituaries.)

PS - I sort of hate the fact that Davis and Davies are so interchangeable! It's annoying.

I lost my beautiful Boo, my heart is broken.
My sweet Beef has joined him.

My baby dog Alice has departed this world. I love you Ali girl.
Little Mister Ghost Lee

I live in Colorado and I'm very interested in family history. The whole reason I joined here was to find my ancestors. I love going to cemeteries and taking pictures. Many of my contributions are based off the photographs I take at these cemeteries.

Sometimes I have trouble reading the dates in the pictures - if you can help me you can click the Edit tab at the top and send me a message. I want to get it right! I like linking family members and adding any info you may have for me. :D

I'm more than happy to transfer memorials to family members!

The one nearest and dearest to my heart, my daddy, was the reason I joined. You can always stop by and leave flowers.

I helped Beth in Colorado to add all the folks in Lakeside Cemetery in Canon City. It took months, wasn't easy, but it was worth it!

My main interest names are:
Clemmons
Whisler
White
Birkes
Shaffer
Wharton
Akers
Powers
Mincher
Simmons
Sanders

A note about my photos - any headstone photos that I took, you have my permission to use on Ancestry or even your own family history pages, all I ask is that you note that I(Courtney Birkes) took the photo. Thank you :)
