I became interested in this site because of the history behind it. Then I began looking up my own family and found it fascinating.

As a kid, my Dad would take me throughout Minnesota and Iowa looking for his relatives in what I called "Stone Forests". I suppose being in a graveyard is somewhat nostalgic as grim as that sounds.

I don't plan on being a huge contributor to findagrave, but if I have free time I may fulfill some requests at local San Diego graveyards.
