Bio

I have been interested in the history of my ancestors & my husband's ancestors for many years and have visited many of their graves over the years. I enjoy doing research on family members as well as others. It makes me realize how short life really is and how we should leave a positive footprint here. But most of all, how important it is to be prepared to pass from this life in a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

I also love my town of Kirksville, Missouri, and the County of Adair. I enjoy studying county and city history and the people who made the history. I feel privileged to be a member of the board called Friends of Forest-Llewellyn Cemetery in Kirksville, secretary/treasurer of Kirksville's Ownbey Cemetery Board and also, as of January 2015, President of the Adair County, Missouri, Historical Society.

Any photos that I have taken and post on this site are free to anyone. You have my permission to copy them for personal use or post to Ancestry.com or any other ancestral sites you wish as long as it is out of respect for the person represented. I hope you find some of your relatives!

I am happy to make any additions or corrections to memorials; just use the Edit tab and I will make the changes as soon as possible.
