PLEASE use the Edit tab and Suggest a Correction link to add/correct information. |
PLEASE use the Edit tab and Suggest a Correction to request a transfer. Please spare me the "I am the family genealogist" and the "I have tons of information to add" stories. I've been burned too many times by people requesting out-of-guidelines transfers and then never add so much as a comma to the memorial. Requests for bulk transfers will be summarily ignored.
I WILL NOT link to just "burial unknown". This IS a grave registration site.
If I do not maintain the memorial, but add a picture, PLEASE check the photo caption for the inscription.
My love of old cemeteries is genetic from my dad. I try to take pictures of the fallen/damaged markers first as they might end up "behind the shed" or "over the wall" by the next time I get there.

Hello P.J. -
That is what I was hoping you would say. I have the memorials for his parents. I will send you a SAC with their memorial numbers so you can link them. James was the youngest of Mary's nine children by her 3rd husband, John A. Francis. James was the only one of the nine to live to old age. Quite sad. Thank you so much for getting back to me and I look forward to hearing from you!
|samson tribhuwan||RE: Photo Gordon Hall #28641672|
Dear P.K. Magruder today I have posted a photo with Gordon halls photo at dhole dapoor in which right above is his photo taken from the hume memorial church ahmednagar , maharashtra state , india, the one on the net is not of gordon hall but his son who was also named gordon so i removed it today and posted the correct one,
anyways please pray as in ahmednagar about 25 acres of land which belongs to the mission schools is sold illegally by the wider church ministries trustees of India namely robert moses, s.k. solomon, etc who are the trustees of the ABCFM board now joined to the WIder church ministries
they sold the land to the land builders in ahmednagar it is very sad that the devoted missionaries like gordon hall who have laid their life for this mission, started work in maharashtra their colleagues like samuel nott, luther rice, who later came to ahmednagar in 1831 and build school for girls and then boys and now their land is in trouble the pastors association of ahmednagar district is trying their best to save this land recently a couple of days back there was a protest of all the churches about 10,000 people gave their protest letter to the ahmednagar collector please write to me more about this and let this message be sent to president moos of the wider church ministires

|custer1963||RE: Gould out of guidelines transfers|
Not sure what you mean as being burned and these are my relatives and I am not just building up numbers. Of course I would add the information and your comments are honestly insulting. I pass on the memorials I create to those who are relatives, regardless of guidelines, especially if I have no connection. I would hope you would reconsider the transfer, but if not I will send you some information.

I know what this site is as I've been an avid contributar for almost ten years and I'm a genealogy Consultant for the LDS Church. Its more of a memorial site then a register site. MY experience people look for the family links where they are ment then in bios so. Ones may miss that and think no family. Regardless if an unknown cemetery now doesn't mean it will always be that way. Its still her parents memorial like hers. But that's your choice
WEll, our little black stray is Black Betty... she had a bunch of kittens and is currently the queen of the shed. WE have 4 cats....lost 4 last year. That was way too much to bear. thanks... for the photo oks... you did a lot of my distant family, the Birges and Judds..
