Hometown is Sanford, Florida. My husband and I were in High School together, "High School Sweethearts". We were married on June 29th, 1962 in Sanford. One of the things I love to do is roam old cemeteries and take pictures, and Jim thought I was odd in that respect. Now I know there's a name for people like me...Taphophiles.I have reaped so many benefits from this site, and never knew it existed until a sweet lady in Sanford called to tell me Jim was on here. |

My time here on Find A Grave has been so limited here lately due to doing family research, work, and everyday life. Your continued visits to my loved ones does not go unnoticed, and I will continue to do my best to remember Angel Days and Birthdays. Thank you so much for being wonderful friends.
"When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand, the friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares." "Henri J.M. Nouwen"
To all of you"THANK YOUR FOR BEING A FRIEND"
"You will lose someone you can't live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn't seal back up. And you come through. It's like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly-that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp." ~Anne Lamott~
When my soul is restless / And things seem out of line /
I visit an old graveyard / To take a mystical step back in time. /
I find the oldest tombstones / Then read the message there /
I consider what their days had been / And how our lives in ways compare. /
We all have lived through heartaches / As well as episodes of fun /
Surviving loss of loved ones / And rewarded for a job well done. /
Sometimes if I'm very still / I can hear what they have to say / And
feel them reaching out to me / Grateful for my momentary stay.

|Barbara Hunnicutt Edwards||Hi sweet friend|
I am so sorry I haven't been by much lately, but I am spending less time on the computer. My computer is so slow it tends to get on my nerves. Ha, we live in a very wooded area and don't get very good reception. I hope you and the family are well. I am about the same, with the spinal stenosis and the arthritis combined, some day's aren't fun. But I thank God I can still get around. We're meeting a bunch of Hunnicutt's at Deep Creek tomorrow. The last one of the season. I am so looking forward to seeing family again. I'm hoping the leaves are getting pretty already. The Rangers are letting us go up to the homesite, would you believe there is flowers and Roses still growing that my grandmother planted, over a hundred years ago. I didn't mean to talk your ear off. Pray for me, that I won't topple into the creek tomorrow. Ha. Take care. Love Bobbie
|Barbara Hunnicutt Edwards||Hi my friend|
Thanks for the Birthday wishes. I had a wonderful day and lots of good food, and Birthday cake too. I can never forget Jim's Birthday, cause mine reminds me it's his too. Does that make sense? Ha. Hope you had a great day too. Talk more later. Love Bobbie

Dear Glenda, thank you for yet another sweet message. I appreciate your thoughts so much. Our precious babies leave their beautiful Paw Prints on our hearts. I only wish we could have them forever.......
|Lynne Herbert 💔||Thank You 🌹|
Dearest Glenda, Thank you so much for your message, and for your prayers. Last week I had to say goodbye to my precious Kirby kitty. My heart is in shreds. Thank you for caring.
|Lynne Herbert 💔||Thank You 💐|
I feel so bad. I failed to thank you for the much appreciated remembrances for Dad, and for my loved ones. It means so much to me. Thank You.
|Lynne Herbert 💔||Hi Glenda 🌹|
You're so welcome, and wishing your beautiful Mom a Happy Heavenly Birthday . I apologize that I was a day early yesterday. I wasn't sure if I would be on-line today, so I didn't want to miss her. As you already know, every day is difficult missing one or both of our parents, but birthdays and Angel Days are especially so difficult. Dad's second Angel Day will be July 29th. I cry every day because I miss him so much, and I dread his Angel Day. I hope you haven't been alone today, and we're able to talk about your sweet Mom, and cherished memories. God bless and be with you.
|Lynne Herbert 💔||Welcome 🌺|
