My interest has always been in history. In the summer of 2004, I started a project on reclaiming an abandon graveyard in Northcote, Minnesota. There are many forgotten graves there, within and outside of the graveyard. Northcote is strong in history; James J. Hill, builder of the Great Northern Railway. He built a Bonanza farm for his son in Northcote, Minnesota, with the world's largest barns and silos. I thought part of the history in the Oakview Catholic Cemetery needed to be saving too! I received many notes from families that did not know where their loves ones where and now have a place to visit. |
Since I started with one gravesite and I thought why not continue so many others can find their love ones.
Please take in consideration that I am not related to most in which I have added. I add them to Find A Grave so family members can find were their ancestors are buried. If you have other information on the graves I have updated please contact me- I would love to add to these graves. Especially pictures!
I have now listed my Mum with me, Mum's are a bit less costly than personal secretaries-lol.

I'm curious would anyone know anything about this family? My interest is her mother's name was Amelia Ring (Seib). Wondering if there might be a connection with my mom's family she was a Seib. Any information would be appreciated.
On the page for Victoria Polejewski you have her father mentioned twice under parents, one of them should be for her mother who is Helen (Masloski) Polejewski 1898 - 1973. Thank you for all you do with find a grave your work is truly appreciated. Teresa

Thank you for all that you do with find a grave it sure has helped me. I live in Washington state and driving out to Minnesota is impossible right now. But I would like to know if you could change the Parents of Victoria Polejewski just her mother. It is Helen Masloski Polejewski, born 1898 died 1973. Also would it be possible for you to take pictures of the two graves in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery they are for Victoria 1918-1924 and Eva Polejewski 1924-1924. There is another Eva Polejewski buried there there is an image of her grave she died 1901. Again thank you. Teresa

You have taken one photo of a Joseph Harstad that was an infant that died at a day old, there should be his parents and another infant in this same family Lot F16, John J, Mary and his second wife Bertha also. Any way to request these? Thank you! Sandy

Would you by any chance have pictures from this cemetery? I would be interested in Hans Hanson, Johan Nelson, Carl, Marit, Mary, Anna Nelson as these are relatives.
