I have recently added writer Catherine Cookson, please vote. If someone knows whether she was buried (and where) or cremated, please let me know.

I have also added Florence Scovel Shinn, whose final resting place I need to know.

Thanks.

RE: Timothy Purnell
Hi Mariela, I will let you know when i hear something. I heard a neighbor had said he has passed but waiting for a update when he did. A few others and myself haven't heard after emailing him too. Last i heard from him was Feb. 18. But nothing since then. If you hear anything, let me know too, please.

Thanks, Hugs, Melissa

Timothy Purnell
Hi, Im a friend on here of Timothy and just recently heard from another friend that she recieved a email from someone who lives near him that Timothy has passed away. I dont know if you knew about it. I think its your member number on his memorial that he has to take care of his memorials at his death. I was wondering when you do take care of them, is there a way to find out the day he passed away, so it can be added to his memorial? Right now he had left Feb 19 as a death date but then someone left a message on his page a few days after that saying they saw him walking on the street. Im thinking he might have passed after that because he was changing the date once a week when he could. A lot of us on here really liked Timothy and will miss him and a few are wondering about the date. Im not sure who else to ask. Thank you for any info that would help us know.

Hugs, Melissa

Thank you for your kind words about her bio. It was a pleasure to write about such an extraordinary woman. I'm also happy to say that her son and daughter were very pleased with the memorial and even asked that I retain management instead of transferring it to them.

Regards,
Charles

Florence Scovel Shinn
Mariela, I couldn't find an obituary for Florence, but there were death notices in papers throughout the country. She was listed in the 1940 U.S. Census in New York City, New York, so I'm sure she died in New York City. The death certificate would say where she was buried. It would have to be ordered, since those records are not online.
