This site is just amazing. Unfortunately, in my genealogy search for my ancestors in the Monroe/Tracy, Lyon County, Minnesota area, I am still at a dead end. I know my Great Grandparents names, and I know they lived in Monroe Township, Lyon County, MN in the 1865-1920s, and one actually until 1955, but still unable to find their burial locations. I am in search of:
Anton Christenson born about 1850 and died 15 May 1886 Monroe Township, Lyon Co, MN,
Bollette or Boletta Christenson born 26 July 1878 and died 10 June 1912 in Lyon County probably Tracy,
and their children:
Andrew Christenson born 11 April 1876 and died 09 Aug 1909 Tracy, Lyon County, MN,
Petra Christenson born 30 Nov 1879 and died 18 Feb 1955 Tracy, Lyon County, MN,
Wilhemina Christenson born Nov 1882 and died before 1895 probably Monroe Township, Lyon Co MN,
Ole Christenson born 14 May 1884 death date and location unknown but probably Tracy, Lyon, MN,
Olga Christenson born Oct 1885 and died before 1910 probably in Monroe/Tracy, Lyon County, MN. So sad that most of them died so young. I know there are at least four cemetaries in Monroe Township, however there are several "Pioneer/abandoned" sites in and around Monroe Township/Tracy, Lyon County, MN.
If anyone knows of these or is adventurous and wants a "Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys" kind of mystery to solve, this would be one for the books. I am at a loss, so any help anyone can give is SO VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! THANK YOU!
