I always enjoyed history. When we were little we always went for rides. When we would come across a historical marker Dad and Mom would stop the car and we would get out. Read the marker and talk about things that had happened at that place.

Little did I know what a lasting impression things like this would make. Imagine my surprise when I started doing genealogy and things began to actually tie in to my families.

Little did I know of my family history with the Revolutionary War, Civil War, World Wars I and II.

I discovered that my family are really truly American. We have Indian, German, Irish, English, French, and the list goes on and on. My great great,great grandfathers fought in the Revolutionary War, my great great grandfathers fought in the Civil War on both sides,and World War I and my Father was in World War II in the Philipines. I have relatives that fought in all the wars since the Revolutionary and before.

This site gives me the chance to list them for others to discover.
