Thank you for making the changes/links to her memorial so quickly. I am a Snider descendant and have been working tirelessly to find the missing links.
|Janice Fry||RE: George W. Ellis|
Hi Rick, I believe they are the same person, with the burial place listed incorrectly on the death record. In my family during this time period, George W Ellis born about 1841 according to the 1860 census and oral family history was the only George W Ellis, in our family. George and Mary Ann Hatley married 2 May 1864, their first child was Nancy Ann Ellis (she married a Reed)) born about, 1865. According to the 1900 census Mary Ann said she was the mother of 12 children with 11 children living. I have names for all but 2, and George W. Ellis born about 1860 is not on the list. According to oral family history George W born 1841 is buried in The Ellis Cemetery. The Carters recorded Mt Comfort about 1974 and George W Ellis was not on their list. I know there are many unmarked graves at Mt. Comfort in the middle of cemetery, and no way of knowing who is there. Mary Ann Hatley Ellis is on the Ellis Cemetery list. Mary Ann & George were married over 36 years, it's hard to believe he would not be buried with her. George's grave site at the Ellis cemetery is next to Mary Ann's (I think, do you remember?). I will be in Benton County over the Christmas Holiday. I will check with my mother & Aunt Viola Ellis Odle to see what oral history they remember, Viola is going on 96 years old, her memory is rusty but it still works. They grew up going to Mt Comfort Church and still go there when able. I have been to Mt Comfort many time and have not found a grave marker with George's name on it. So based on this family information I believe George is in the Ellis Cemetery. I guess we will never really know, so what, do we do?

|Jerry Bailey||Issac Clement #61029678|
I found more information where Issac is buried. Clement Cemetery is located 1/2 mi. east of Old Mt. Vinson Church North of Big Sandy in Benton County TN which is in Camden TN.
I am well. Don't get around very well. Have to use a walker. I had my 85th birthday last week.

|Ann A||RE: Sgt James C. Armstrong|
Thank you so much, Rick. I'm going to visit the gravesite this weekend. By the way, his name was later corrected in the records to James Carroll Armstrong, but the marker was not changed.
Thanks for all you do.
