Since retirement, I have had lots of time to work on genealogy for my family and my husband's family. I enjoy visiting cemeteries and recording the burials to help others find their relatives.|
When requesting a transfer, please tell me how you are related to the individual. I'm not a stickler for the 4 generation rule, but I do like to know your connection to the person.
PLEASE DO NOT ADD DEATH CERTIFICATES TO MY MEMORIALS. There are family members who do not wish to have death certificates displayed. If you need a death cert, there are several places to look them up.

Maggie, our family believes the date of death is wrong on this memorial, even though the date that you have recorded is on the headstone. He and his wife, Elizabeth, were alive and recorded on the federal census taken between the 1st and 21st days of June 1880. It is believed that he actually died in 1882. Thanks

Oops. This is like herding cats :) I don't know whether the problem is that I'm communicating poorly (and if so, I apologize), or whether it's the squirrely links in the find-a-grave software.
Now Julia Winslett Greenwade McCown's parents are missing!
Julia's parents were:
Palmer Moses Greenwade - Memorial #6746202, and
Myra Lee Brown Greenwade-Baker - Memorial #51576238

Thanks for the heads-up on the mistake in William's Bio. It's been taken care of. And I'm glad the information proved useful for you.

Yes, after finding him on F A G I sent his navy friend a link and told him the news that his friend had passed away.
I see his brother and father served in the service as well. His friend has a photo of Nolan in uniform with friends from 1963. Is there room for another photograph?

Thank you for the memorial on my great grandmother in Ridge Park Cemetery.

Thank you so much for doing that and for your kind words. I have been working on Ridge Park for a while. A bigger job than I thought it was going to be. Just a drop in the bucket compared to all the work you have put in there and so many others. At my age I have to really focus on what I'm doing or I get confused...LOL
I have so many family members buried in Ridge Park so I decided to do what I can. Didn't realize how large it was.
Thanks again, I appreciate it very much.
Have a blessed holiday weekend.

Roscoe Lindley Barrow. Thank you for the transfer of Roscoe! He and his wife are such dear people and relatives! Unfortunately, both are gone. We know he was waiting with open arms for Ruth's arrival! This is a great honor to have his Memorial trusted to me, and I humbly accept the gift! Thank you again, Maggie!!!

This is my great great grandfather. My records show he is buried in Rosebud,Falls,Texas at the Powers Chapel Cemetery. When I pull the record William G. Judkins shows up, are they twins, the same person, or a mistake?

Thank you for the response! I guess another mystery. If you should discover who gave you that piece of information, I would love being connected to them for the purpose of finding out what information they have.
Thank you again,
