I see where you put a Confederate flag on Richard Parmenas Jasper Haynes memorial page. I am doing research for a commander of a SCV camp on this soldier. He has a man that wants to join his
camp. I've used all my resources and I have come up with nothing. He is buried in the Woodley Cemetery in Harrison County, TX. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks Bob

RE: Sylvester Chestnutt
You are Welcome! Anytime in the future I go to Cave Hill I will make sure to keep a look out for any Rubel family for you! Thank you for giving me the chance to get to learn about Sylvester Chesnutt and his service in the civil war.

Sylvestus M Chesnutt - Cave Hill
Sylvestus is buried in Section O, Lot 264. You may want to add that to the request to avoid problems.

I posted an earlier photo for Thomas, Jr. I will get a newer one that shows the headstone with the dates for his wife, Marguerite and post it later. Sorry for the confusion.

Good morning! I'm likely going to review and take pics at this cemetery tomorrow, and I noticed you have recent photo requests. I'll see who all I can find! I usually canvas the cemetery a section at a time. I'm hoping to cover as much ground as possible and fill in as many photos as possible. Let me know if you have more requests and I'll try to seek them out! Thanks!

We'll be going back there in the fall. I'll double check the cemetery again to see if perhaps the marker has fallen in and has been covered.

RE: Francis Marion Floyd
Thanks for the info, Bob. I'll investigate the lineage a bit more to see which Joseph Readhead it could be. The Joseph Redhead buried there died in 1881. He is buried with his wife, son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. Last burial there was 1902. There is a space next to Joseph that has no marker. The landowner didn't think there was anyone there. Location is correct, so let's assume it's his. There are also fragments of a monument on top of Julia Redhead's grave that bore no markings. I'll try to track down a living descendant who may know. Appreciate the information. Ken
