William Lafayette Talbert
Hi, I saw your posting for William, honoring him as a "True Southern Hero" and "A Confederate Soldier who Bravely and Proudly Fought for Southern Independence".....but I was just curious, as I'am researching this Family Tree, did you know that His Father, James Anderson Talbert was a Big Slave Owner?, so William grew up among enslaved people......It makes you wonder, what it was that he thought he was proudly fighting for.....just a thought. Cheers.
