My name is Jerry Carlton Rice. People ask me why I use all three of my name's? When your name is Jerry Rice you had better add another name to it if you do not want to be lost on the field.
My Father was also named Jerry C Rice and my mother was Jane FDR Lawson. My grand mother, Sis, said my name was going to be Butch so that is the name I grew up using.

I love history. I love it even more when I can touch it. And by remembering my family down the family tree line I have been able to touch history. With history, I have met many people that have gone on before me. And by reading about them, I have also been able to come to know them.
I also love kids, mostly when they live with you and not me. But it is okay for them to visit as long as they do not stay when you leave. LOL.
Reading about missing murdered and abused children made me want to do something to fight against the abuse. And for me, the best thought I could come up with, for me, was to make sure that no child is ever forgotten. This is one reason I started the Forgotten Angels page on Face Book.

I now have the names of over 500 children that have passed away listed on that page. And each day we wish a Happy Birthday or Farewell to those listed for that day.
I also maintain a name list so that when someone wants to find a child, they can be easily located.

As I said above, I think that no one is ever gone until no one remembers them. For this reason I now post pages here for any child that has passed that I cannot find already posted here. Some children are well known and cared for. But some are nothing more than a foot note in someone else's story. Those are the children I am hunting.

My mission here is two fold.
The first is to give a place for every forgotten child to be remembered.
And the second is to give a place for each and every person in my family that I know of that does not have a place some where else.
I also work toward linking my family tree up so that someone working on their own family tree can find a place to work on their own tree with out it costing them a dime.
Find A Grave is free. And for this, they are a total treasure to me. I think each and every one of the people behind Find A Grave will have a place in Heaven for their caring loving work here.

My Great Grand Mother, Maude Estell Dowdy-Mundy started me out working on my family tree. She would set me down and tell me stories about her father and mother.
Over the years I have collected stories from many family members about the people in my family. And I hope to share as many of those stories as I can.

I would like to thank each and every person that has set up a page for one of my family members and then transfered management to me. You are all special in my book.
Also if I am managing the page of your loved one and you wish to claim it please let me know. I will transfer management to you. But If you wish I will be honored to keep manageing the page, and will be sure to give the best of care.
