I see that you and I have the same Grandfather, yet I do not know you. Are you a child of David's?
Barbara, Thank you for visiting my Mother's Memorial on her Angel Day & for the beautiful flowers. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
Today has been so EXASPERATING, trying to get my scrapbook to open. Better luck tomorrow, maybe?

|Country girl ♦||Hi Barbara|
I LOVE THIS SITE ALSO, BUT AS SLOW AS IT HAS BEEN
WORKING IT TAKES SO LONG TO VISITS MEMORIALS, AND
MOST OF THE TIME IT ONLY WORKS IN THE WEE HOURS OF
THE NIGHT AND I CAN'T ALWAYS BE UP LATE NIGHT.
I WILL KEEP TRYING, JUST HOPE EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS
THERE WILL BE TIMES WHEN I CAN'T DO SITE, OR HAVE
TO VISIT FEWER MEMORIALS.
YOUR FRIEND, MARIE
Thank you for visiting my Grandmother's Memorial on her birthday & for the beautiful flowers.....I appreciate your kindness!

Everyone needs to believe if you have a headache and it is bad and lasts all day and you go to bed with it, it could be a problem. I had a bad headache all Sunday went to bed laughing, " I might not wake up in the morning, it hurts so bad." Ha Ha....No narcotic or anything could get rid of it. It did not feel like it was the worst pain I ever had, just a persistent head ache.
So we have hot balloons that go over the house from time to time and I was asleep and I was woke up because of the hot air balloon gliding over the roof of the house. That noise they make of the blast of propane to raise the balloon was loud and I could almost feel the heat. Anyway I knew what it was. Jumped out of bed to go look (they are beautiful) There were four balloons landing in the field next to my house.
One was checkered and as I looked at it I realized I was seeing them over lapping, Double vision. Then my face was tingling on the right side. Seeing the lights in my kitchen with halos of double vision, I freaked out. Normal response. I decided if anything, it was a blockage and not a bleed so I ran for the aspirin.
All I kept thinking is God don't let this be happening. Please not me, not now. MY eye looked strange drooped a little bit and as much as I did not want to go to the ER I had no choice.
Long story a T I A... transient ischemic attack, a "mini stroke" . they say there is no permanent damage to the brain. So my double vision is better but still here and it makes me CRAZY! My Doc said, the balloons getting me up could have saved my life. He also said had it been a bleed the aspirin was not a good idea. I made a decision and lucked out. Wow...this getting old is hard. Freaky and so scary . I am used to having my body do what I tell it to. This time it said "no" and I did not like it at all.
Thank you for your love and concern. If this was a precursor of what is to come, I want to say now that I have loved you all and you have been my friend and my cyber family. I am grateful to you for showing your amazing ability to care and reach out to others and to lend a soft word of kindness. In the end all we have is those who care about us, and it is nice to know you were here for me.

Thank you so much for remembering our Great-great-grandfather, Adam, on his Angel Day, February 9th. We don't know much about Adam or Margaretha, just basic information written in Dad's Baby Book by his parents after Dad was born, 90 years ago.
We recently found out all of their children's names and dates on ancestry websites. We have no photos of them, it's quite sad. We'll keep searching though.
The find A Grave Community have been so wonderful to us. We thank each of You from the bottom of our hearts ♥
