During the week, Daddy would take us on side trips to Ruby Mountain or Cripple Creek or down Phantom Canyon Road. My sister and I always managed to go horseback riding nearly every day! RE: Nubbins!
Oh thanks Cari, Nubbins is being a real good girl. The only thing is she has had table food her whole life and she wants food off our plates. I told her to wait and I would give her some after I was done. She seems to like everything.

We have had Jovanni since Sat. and we are going to keep him until Tuesday. He smiles and laughs now and is a real joy to Clair and me. Hugs, Ann

RE: Mariah Philadelphia Craig
Cari,
I do not know where Charlotte "Lottie" Stockard Craig is buried, but I decided to go ahead and make her a record, so that her children could be attached. She is the second wife of William Blackwood Craig and the mother of 5 of his daughters. She also had a son with her first husband and 2 sons with her second husband. All three of the men she married were related to each other. I believe they were all first or second cousins. I do not descend from her line. I descend from William Blackwood Craig and his first wife Amanda Copeland, through their oldest child, Martha Ann Craig Givens McCarty.

RE: Mariah Philadelphia Craig
I am 100% positive she is the daughter of William Blackwood Craig. She is listed with her father and mother in the 1850 District #13, Maury County, TN census record, she is also with them in the 1860 Lebanon Township, Laclede County, Missouri census. I also have her obit from the Lebanon (MO) Rustic, May 18, 1926, pgs. 1 & 8. The obit clearly states she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Craig, who came from Maury County, TN and settled in Laclede County, MO. The MO death certificate appears to say Aaron Craig, but it actually says Wm. Craig. She is also listed as the surviving sister, Mrs. J. K. Saunders, in the Laclede County Republican, July 7, 1922, pg. 1 obit of her sister Mary Craig Hudson Bradfield. Mariah is one of the 5 half-sisters to Martha Ann Craig Givens McCarty, my GGGGrandmother.

Transferred. I do not show his wife with him unless perhaps she remarried & had a different last name.

RE: Samuel McClellan Ober
Cari,
How fun to meet another family member in my Ober line. I think this has been one of the lines that has been hardest to find any information on. I sent you an e-mail with copies of the pension papers. I hope they are helpful!
