A person's name is their identity. Who they are, and were. This is very important to all of us. From birth, till death. And for those who live on, who still care We pay tribute to them. May God bless them and keep them.
RE: Chasteens You asked one of the Zollars family members why they did not have memorials (back in 2010). I could not see if you were ever answered. The family had the original memorials removed when the graphic bios would not be deleted.
Except for the bios written by Kit and Morgan Benson, the originals were fine with photos of the kids and Terry.
I just thought u might want an answer to why the memorials were not there prior to 2010. They were. The family even had me create memorials for them that did not mention the horrid details but Find A Grave deleted them too.
Not trying to do anything but answer your question.
Cloey Flynn Ballard is my 4X Great-Grandmother and Chloe Ballard-Henley is obviously my 2X Great-Grandmother. Chloe is Cloey's grandchild. They spell their names different, as we learned when we saw Cloey's grave.
As you know, Cloey Flynn was the little girl who Daniel Boone rescued from the Indians. She is mentioned in the history books. I have many relatives from WV...especially Kanawha County. My parents grew up in the Mammoth WV area, and were often in Ward and Cedar Grove. My dad just mentioned Chloe Henley the other day...and how she is his Great-Grandmother.
My son Justin - who is 22, and I, took a cross country road trip last fall from Seattle, WA to Muncie, IN. We are temporarily staying here in Muncie - where I was born and raised. One of the first things we did was head to Shelbyville, IN to see Cloey's grave. We were so surprised when we entered Trackwell Cemetery (a piece of land situated off the road between farmhouses) and saw so many of the graves of our ancestors! Talk about confronting the generations and time...I was really humbled.
I have also connected with a couple of other relatives and we are on Facebook. I also have pictures on there, of Trackwell Cemetery and Cloey's grave. If you are on there, please look me up! After all, we're related!
Also, please feel free to email me anytime at: email@example.com.
Thank you for such a wonderful message, Itdan! It is great to hear from you!
