I discovered Find A Grave while searching for the grave of my grandfather's brother. This simple little search sent me on a mission to search for my ancestors and get some of my family history on Find A Grave. Once I got hooked on genealogy, I decided I could help others by adding names to the site so that sent me onto my new "hobby" - photographing graves, and now I am totally addicted. I hope my work on Find A Grave will help others in their search or allow them to "visit" a loved one's grave. |
I'm not one of those people who think they give a prize for managing the most memorials. If you have any connection to someone that I have created a memorial for, I will gladly transfer it, as long as they are not in my tree.
The Bismarck Tribune did a very nice article on my cemetery project a while back. Click Here to view the article.
In April 2016 they did another article. Click Here to view the article.
I have set up a Tribalpages family tree. Click on the link below to view it.
If I have taken a photograph of your ancestor's tombstone and it is of poor quality (shadows/overgrown with grass/hard to read/etc), please let me know and I will see what I can do about taking a better one. It is hard to take good photographs of all the markers when I am at a cemetery as the angle of the sun is often poor the stones don't photograph well.
If I have helped you in your search, please return the favor and "pay it forward" and do your part to help out someone else.

She was born on July 01, 1888 and Died on February 02, 1980. However, she passed away in San Jose, California. The only reason why I come up with for her being there is because one of her three children (Ruby) was there, who passed away in 2004. I was hoping in the end she would end up with Joseph again since he passed away so young, at the age of 33.
So maybe Clara is buried near Ruby and her husband, Ole.
Thank you for helping me. I really do appreciate it.

I know on his page you noted that there is a chance on maybe more graves within the lilac bushes.
I was wondering if you can go and see if his wife Clara was buried there with him. She died in 1980. I would be forever grateful!
