The first person I looked up on FAG had two comments on it that were untrue and insulting. I felt bound to respond. I looked up others and felt it right to put in positive and helpful comments that would help readers to appreciate those who have gone before in the journey of life.|
I think this is a very good site. Thanks to all who have worked positively on it. The Bible quotations are from J.N.Darby's Translation.(I have put the Lord where it should be Jehovah in some instances,in case some might think I was a J.W.) I pray that they are appropriate and that they might be a comfort to those who read them. May God bless them all.
As I look at these stones many express Hope in the Resurrection of the bodies of the Saints by the Lord Jesus when He returns. Do not be Left behind at the Rapture. Read 1 Thessalonians 4 v13-18; in your Holy Bible.
When I say unto the wicked. Wicked man thou shalt certainly die: and thou speakest not to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thy hand. Ezekiel 33 v8
If anyone would like to use a photo or adopt a memorial, they are welcome. The photos are often taken in a hurry, I do not have much time. If any verse is thought to be inappropriate, I will change it. Remember the rich man in Luke 16 who said,"I have five brothers...earnestly testify to them, that they also may not come to this place of torment."

Thanks for removing it. As you know, funerals are for the living and one of his daughters decided he needed to have a religious funeral for herself and as a show to the public, but Robert was not religious. Thanks for understanding.

Hello. You don't have a personal email address posted and I would have preferred to send this privately.
You left a biblical message on my great grandfather's memorial. I don't know why. If you had researched my Moffatt line from Orillia, Canada to Iowa, you would have found that they were not religious but rather "free thinkers." I appreciate the thought but will you please remove your comment or revise to something non-religious? This Moffatt branch had no religion and in order to respectfully practice freedom of religion, I must ask that you remove it.
Thank you kindly. All the best to you.

|darealjolo||ILLOGAN (ST. ILLOGAN) CHURCHYARD|
I have just completed adding the remaining wargraves to this location.
|darealjolo||RE: George Smale|
Strictly speaking, your memorial for George Smale is a duplicate because he already has a memorial page, and does not accord with findagrave’s mission to show the final disposition of human remains.
As for St Illogan, in my view there should be perhaps three separate ‘cemeteries’ on findagrave-the churchyard, the cemetery and the Parish Burial Ground. Are all three contiguous? CWGC certainly regard the latter two as separate.
|darealjolo||St Illogan Parish Church Burial Ground|
If the following is correct, is the church signboard photo posted by Maureen Schnittker correct?
“The Illogan Cemetery is frequently mistaken for the adjacent churchyard. The cemetery is administered by Cornwall Council and not by the church. Most Illogan burials since the early 1950's have taken place in the municipal cemetery, not the churchyard.”
By the way, CWGC say that
“a piece of ground was laid aside in the south-western corner of Illogan Churchyard for service burials and this later became the war graves plot.”
|darealjolo||RE: Leslie Ayers|
If Colonel Sands died in The Great War, and served with British and Commonwealth forces, he would be on the CWGC web site-he isn’t so I would be interested in the source of your information.
|darealjolo||RE: Col. Sands|
You only entered the title-but no message.
The point I was making is that there were no officers of that rank, nor Brevet Colonel/Lieutenant Colonel who were casualties of the Great War.
Thank you for removing the quotation. The main problem is thtat we had been contacted bt someone connected to family who did not want the quotation. In any case Florence had never been buried there and we have now located her grave elsewhere
|Boreenatra||Removal of flower|
Please remove flower from # 24345505 as the relatives have deemed this innappropriate and do not wish messages to be left by people they do not know.
