" Remember me in the family tree - My name, my days, my strife: then I'll ride upon the wings of time and live an endless life".
Goetsch

I am mainly researching burials of military personnel.

Honoring soldiers of the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War (North and South), Indian Wars, Mexican War, Spanish-American War, Philippine-American War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Global War on Terror. Also adding non-wartime vets, Reserves and National Guard. Whether or not you agree on their purpose, they all are considered Veterans.

It pains me to come across Veterans with no mention of their service to this country. If there is not a military headstone picture then their service to our country is forgotten. I believe they deserve a little more effort, but that is my opinion and like they say "everybody has one". I am adding any extra facts I can find on them and as many of their family members as possible. It may take longer, but it's worth it. I would just rather have quality over quantity. Yes, Find A Grave is supposedly not a "genealogy" site, but when you pass on do you really want to be known as just a birth year/death year or less? Thank you Find A Grave for ending the race for the "highest numbers of memorials" created by members.

In addition, I add relatives of my own family and a have few "others" from when I first began without a specific mission. Also beginning to add children who passed away in infancy.

If you find a mistake please let me know by the "Edit" tab. I am more than happy to get things right. If I send you a note/edit, with some information, it's to help not to be a pain in the you-know-what. I thoroughly research all facts before sending "edits"/before I accept "edits".

Please do not add death certificates to my memorials. Sometimes they give a little to much information. If I had wanted them I would have done it myself.

Go Spurs Go! - Five NBA Championships playing "real" team basketball. The only old ABA team (Spurs, Pacers, Nets, Nuggets) so far to win the NBA title. Still waiting on the Indiana Pacers who appeared in five ABA finals and won three championships. Anyone else miss the red, white and blue basketballs?

It was a long wait, but my St. Louis Blues finally won the Stanley Cup!
