You are absolutely right! I found Elizabeth Imming's obituary to confirm your findings.
I've up-dated the Droege memorials to include the additional child and added the second Elizabeth to the sibling lists on the memorials for her brothers and sisters.
I also sent parent link numbers, the middle name and more complete birth/death information via the Edit Tab to the person who controls Elizabeth Imming's memorial. That should make it easier for her to get things up-dated.
It was surprisingly common to name another child the same name if a baby died back in the olden days. In fact, I've seen families do it with the same name for 3 or 4 children after the first ones died. Hard to imagine nowadays.
Thank you very much for catching this one. I'm very happy to be able to make the memorials more accurate.
Good to hear from you as you always have valuable information to share! Until next time...
Tony Bess Hello Mike Thanks for leaving flowers on my sister Paula's grave site on Find a Grave. I have not seen you or Steve in years. Were you looking for Lonnie G.Lowe ? I saw his headstone picture on here, He is buried in Illinois. You know all my family is from Calhoun County Illinois right ? Kampsville in The Summit Grove Cemetery. My Dad Carl Bess wished to be buried at Jefferson Barracks, He and Jeanette are both at rest there.Drop me a line sometime we could talk a long time and catch up.
RE: Mary Jane Lammy Weaver You are welcome. My grandmother was Elizabeth Burge, the daughter of William and Mary. I spent a great deal of my younger years living with her and my grandfather, I actually called them Ma and Dad and do so to this day. They lived in New Canton at that time. I have not been very active on ancestry or find a grave lately.
We retired to deep south TX about 10 years ago and try to get to Pleasant Hill area every few years.
I will work on the Weavers I own at Byrd/Oak Grove within the next few days. I've got many other memorials there that also need some attention.
The person who created the 2008 memorials for the rest of the Weavers moved them to Byrd/Oak Grove on Find A Grave, so that should make things less confusing. She added some great pictures to the memorials. Be sure to take a look when you get a chance!
When I put in the links you sent for the Weavers, I saw that I had accidentally created 4 duplicate memorials. I didn't realize that someone already had them on under the cemetery name Oak Grove instead of Byrd/Oak Grove.
I deleted my duplicates and wrote to the owner of the 4 Weaver memorials that were put on in 2008 to suggest she transfer hers to Byrd/Oak Grove. It's confusing if they're not all together under one listing.
I did want to let you know that one of the memorials I had to delete happened to be one that had your nice flowers on it. You might want to put them back on the memorial for Mary Lammy Weaver that is listed at Oak Grove.
