|Lon +||RE: Vera-Ellen|
I assume you're referring to the note I left on her Angel Day, 8.30.1981. To me, Vera-Ellen was the greatest female dancer of the Golden Age of movies. I own most of her musicals on DVD and belong to the Vera-Ellen on-line Yahoo group. She was simply the best! Cheers~~ Lon +

I hope that you are having a very wonderful day!
Thank you for the kind words that you left for me today. I appreciate them very much.
There are so many nice people here on Find A Grave.
By the way, I noticed on your profile that you like old B & W movies; so do I. I will always opt for the oldies-but-goodies rather than any of the newer ones.
"The Shop Around The Corner" is one of my very favorites! I have seen it so many times! It is a great movie!
Well, thank you again.
Take good care and be well.

Sorry if this is late in replying. I have written a book, soon to be published, about the Tom Dooley-Laura Foster Murder Case. I have spent several years researching the facts of the case and I think I have solved most of the remaining mysteries. Angeline Pauline Triplett (Foster) Melton was my great-great grandmother. If you have additional questions, write to me at this address and I will try to answer your questions - or, you could just buy the book.

I am an avid Peggy Ann Garner fan. I am proud to own all of her movies including her very first one made when sh was 6 years old. She had a very sad personal life and now she is with the angels since October 16,1984.
