Mary E.Byerley
Jay;
No you don't manage her memorial but yes the
name is spelled correctly. However there is another spelling of the name & it is Byerlee. But that is not how her name is spelled.The reason I contacted you was to see if you knew or if she was one of your relation.And you had left a flower on her memorial which I thought she might be your relative.I am looking for a Mary E. Byerley. The one I'm wanting is the daughter of J.L. & Amanda Davis Little from Ozark Co.,Mo.

RE: Regarding Egerton Bliss again
Higginson is a reprint company, I used the Journal Publishing co. 1906 ed. to scan the photo from Century of Meriden. Higginson basically photocopies and the pictures are poor quality.

Encyclopedia of Connecticut biography, genealogical-memorial; representative citizens; (Volume 3)
in the public domain and available online at www.ebooksread.com. (could be page 72, its a little hard to tell for certain)

I didn't type it, just cleaned it up a little. Scanning left a few typos and hyphens.

Do you by any chance know who Mary's parents are?

For John, I can read "Blessed are the dead who die in ....." I can't read the last words but I assume they are "the Lord" which is from Revelation 14:13.

For Elizabeth, it is

"He giveth his beloved sleep" from Psalms 127:2

Regards,
Paul
