I am a former teacher, mother of 4 and Nana to 10 beautiful grandchildren. I have always been passionate about my faith, family, animals, history and genealogy. A New Englander by birth, I now reside on the Maine coast. My wonderful husband was a career AIR FORCE man and we traveled much of the world. I LOVE America and have the deepest respect and honor for our men and women who serve our country, both now and in days long ago. As a Christian, I KNOW that death is not the end...but a beginning for those who have loved The Lord. I thank you in advance for visiting my loved ones, I truly appreciate your visits.|
PLEASE stop by my Virtual Cemetery; "Celia's Precious Girls." These three beautiful little girls were killed in a car crash. You will fall in love with them as I have.
Please stop by and flower, ALYSSA FAYE AVILA #57459060, beautiful little girl who passed at the tender age of 9 when she fell off playground equipment at school. ALYSSA needs flowers♥

Do you have the correct birth date of Elizabeth's mother Mary? I have found numerous dates and can't seem to find anyone who knows for certain.

I'm interested in including the photo of Ms. Dame
in a book I'm writing about Concord, NH. The photo is the one with pins on her dress. it looks like a painting. Can you tell me how I may go about getting the original or copy with permissions to print it in a book?
Thank you, Lorraine

Ha.. I live in upstate NY, so I know about brutal winters. I love Southern Maine so much I would take the winters over Florida any day. I stayed here only to take care of my mom and stay by her side. Praying God will open a door one day. Especially in Portland. Love it there.

Thank you SO much for the very sweet token you left on my mother's memorial. It made me smile. I see you live on the coast of Maine, I used to live there as a child, and want to move back one day. My father's side of the family comes from Maine and NH, dating back into the 1600's. Wonderful place.

I very much appreciate the tokens left for my Jason and Heather.
I noticed you left a candle on his grave, memorial 15418954. I recently visited Frost Hill cemetery and have added gravestone photo. Sincerely, Kathy

I see that you have left virtual flowers for my memorials--how sweet. Thank you so much!

I may make a second attempt at Jonathon Barrett, as the stone leans severly forward, making it difficult to capture a good image.
You also may be interested in Capt. Abijah Wyman, another Revolutionary War soldier whose grave I photographed on the same day.
Of particular interest is Prince Estabrook, a slave who fought in the Battle of Lexington in 1775. He served in the army until 1783, became a free man, and moved to Ashby in 1805. When he died in 1830, he was buried outside the Ashby First Parish Burial Ground but was reinterred within at a later date.
