Bio

I am the youngest daughter (youngest child, as a matter of fact) of the Rev. Lev and Mary Helen Bostick. I am a Deaconess and Sunday School teacher currently working on a study of the disciples of Jesus, and also working on a study of the churches of the book of Revelation. I have a daughter, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. I have a wonderful husband and am happily married. I have three cats , a dog, and a fish. I really do enjoy a good joke, and I love to tell jokes and play them on people also (I think I "inherited" this from my Daddy and his brother, my uncle, Nathan Bostick).

I feel it is of extreme importance to know your family history. Your descendants have a right to know their heritage. I do not want my grandchildren to go through what I have been through researching. Although Genealogy is my hobby and I enjoy it immensely, as it is extremely rewarding, fun, and adventurous, it has its ups and downs. When it "all comes together", it's the best feeling ever! However and just as easily, research can be frustrating, disappointing, time consuming, and unsuccessful. Old records, lost records, different views, different names than what you first thought, are all found in Genealogy. However, for the sake of preserving your family name and heritage, I beseech you to start a family history journal if you have not done so. Someday down the line, someone will be so glad you did! And the discoveries you will make along the way may very well delight you!

I really enjoy this website, and may God bless each and everyone who reads this!!

In Christian love,

Kimberly

"Love life...live life!" ...Kimberly Collier

"Show me the manner in which a nation cares for its dead,
and I will measure with mathematical exactness the tender mercies
of its people, their respect for the laws of the land and their loyalty
to high ideals." - William Gladstone

"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love." - Leo Buscaglia
