I was born in 1981 near Leipzig, Germany and still live there with my mother and my cat. |
At the moment I'm trying to finish my second cemetery. It is about half done, I have two rows left and some pictures to add. But you can already leave flowers. Bergfriedhof Mölkau
It would be very nice of you if you would leave some flowers for my other interments.
Public messages: If you ask me something or send me a S.A.C. and there is the possibility that I write something back (like when you ask: What do you think?) It would be totally amazing if you have your public messages enabled.
Photos: All grave photos taken and posted by me may not be used by you without my permission. Ask, and I probably grant it, but please do not steal them and re-post them somewhere.
A short German-English lesson:
Liebling - darling
Tochter/Töchterlein - daughter/baby daughter
Sohn / Söhnchen - son / baby son
Schwester - Sister
Ehefrau - wife
Gattin - wife
seine - his
Gattin von - wife of
Ehemann - husband
Mutter - mother
unser/unsre - our
Two words in Czech
Rozena/Rozen - born
Rodina - family
Disclaimer: (because, apparently I need one)
If I send you a S.A.C. which sounds insulting, assume that it was not my intention. I still have problems with the english language and sometimes just don't come across the way I want.
When you call me a liar to the whole community, be prepared to be ridiculed in front of said community.... and of course, when an Admin deletes a memorial you will no longer see it. xxx

I was working on Charles of Valois and came across your memorial and the one maintained by the Find A Grave staff (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=21057) recorded in 2001. Anyway to merge the two records?
|Sue Cevasco||Adelaide of Savoy|
Hi Lutetia -
You posted a photo for Adelaide of Savoy, Memorial #36523021, that I assume was her grave. Is that what it is? It looks like a door. Since you have the original photo, is there a way you can read the marker to the left of it and tell me what it says? Thanks.
|Dorothy M. Lewis||Just a thank you...|
Thank you so very much for all of the amazing work you do. When we're half a world away, and may never travel to visit their graves, it means so much to find not only find the burial records of our ancestors, but wonderful photos as well.

This is a long shot but because I have had no success finding the parents of the above, I am trying to contact someone with knowledge of Germany. She came to the US and was born in Germany 2/14/1824 I believe she was from Baden-Wurtemburg. Her name may have been spelled Hettenbach. I think she had a brother named Franz. I am hoping you can and are willing to help me. Thank you from Indiana, USA. Irene Walls Barrett. email@example.com
Wir kriegen die Familie Kestner langsam zusammen.
Macht's gut, Grüße, BobP

|Jim Hitchcock||RE: Indian Farm Cemetery - Albertine|
I placed another photo with less grass at the edges and corrected Albertine's Surname to MASS. Hope this helps.

If you decline to link to the male parent, that's fine. Suit yourself, but if you read the Caption on Baldwin's Tower Photo - that was approved by FindAGrave you will see that this is where he was allegedly Interred. Its Hard to be more specific on something that happened 8 centuries ago, I feel He deserves to be memorialized anyway, Take care, gene
