My Oldest ancestor: James Blackmar(more) and Mary Hawkins. Both are buried in the Roger Williams Family Burial Grounds located in Roger Williams Park of Providence, Rhode Island. Roger Williams was the founder of Providence, Rhode Island. James and Mary's two daughters, Elizabeth and Mary, married Roger's grandsons Thomas and James Williams. They too are buried in the Family Burial Ground at Roger Williams Park. The burial ground is located at the entrance where the old Casino Building and Betsey William's Cottage can be found.

I'd like to find out James Blackmar's origins, but have hit the proverbial Brick Wall!
