PLEASE NOTE: To anyone who had EDITS suggested for me in the last few months, please re-submit them. I accidentally deleted them. So, please re-submit, and I will put them into effect. Thanks!

Hello, my name is Karl Stelly. I'm 60 years old, and I'm originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. I've lived in Baytown, Texas, Tulare, California, Great Falls, Montana, Killeen, Texas, Manassas, Virginia, and Louisville, Kentucky. I moved to Gettysburg with my fiance about 8 years ago. I enjoy roaming the battlefield and photography, and studying the history of Gettysburg and the Civil War. I have quite a few photographs of Gettysburg and other Civil War battlefields and other historic sites posted on Google Earth. I use the name "Seven Stars" on Panoramio and Google Earth. If you see photos there by "Seven Stars," that's me!

Thank you so much for the information on my Great great grandfather! No wonder I couldn't find his grave! It was always thought and told that he was buried at Gettysburg!! I know there is a John Reimel buried there who may be related but I did not know that Jeremiah was not buried there. That explains a lot!

Many thanks to you again!

Kari, you took a picture for me of this grave at Gettysburg National Cemetery. You posted a close-up of the writing on his marker. Do you recall if there were wings on the grave?

Many thanks for your efforts!

William H Schreiber
Hi Karl First thank you for posting Wm. H Schreiber. He and my father joined the navy same day. I just found letters from Wm. to my father along with pictures. My dad knew he was kia but did not know where buried. I found his Cemetery interment record but it has no mention of hometown Turtle Creek, Pa. Where was that info found? I am looking for his hometown address. Thank you

RE: PFC Richard M. Barnitz (#57774854)
He may very well have been living there at the time of his enlistment. From what I've been able to piece together he did travel a lot with this brother J Percy, who was a war correspondent and writer who did spend some time in NY.

I've linked his spouse, and sent edits for his parents. Thanks!

PFC Richard M. Barnitz (#57774854)
I'm wondering if you have any documentation that PFC Barnitz is from New York. I'm fairly certain he was actually from Pennsylvania, I've found mentions of him in old newspapers and historical documents, and an excerpt from the Swope family history identifies him down to the exact birth date.

I'm pretty sure that I've identified his parents and siblings here in PA but will await your response before sending the edits.
