I am researching my own family as well as documenting cemeteries. I feel it is important to photograph stones before they are forever lost to time. I would be happy to transfer any memorials that are not directly related to me.|
Please do not take offense if I add a different photo to a memorial page. Maybe the photo I took gives a different perspective due to time of year, lighting, etc. Of course, I welcome any additional photos and/or editions to memorials I have created.
Photo Use: If I took the gravestone photo, feel free to use it. Please do not use personal family photos without my permission.
Edits: Use the Edit button on the memorial page for additions/corrections. Do not use personal email for edits unless absolutely necessary.
Please, spare me from "policing" my memorials. At least I am out there, in the elements, putting in MANY hours to obtain photos. So instead of sitting at your computer playing hall monitor, get up and get out to cemeteries. Do something really constructive.
"Walking. I am listening to a deeper way. Suddenly all my ancestors are behind me. Be still, they say. Watch and listen. You are the result of the love of thousands."
¯ Linda Hogan
P.S. I just want to give a special thank you to all the people who volunteer to take photo requests. Many times it is impossible to see a grave in person and your photo is the next best thing. Many thanks for your time. Paying it forward!

Thanks you so much for the photos of my KANE family. Although I grew up in Delaware, I was never told about the cemeteries where family is buried & now I have to do my research from the west coast. Having these headstone photos is invaluable to me & greatly appreciated.

Maria scullion mcginnis, no im sorry I will not delete that memorial. The name I added is what is on the headstone. I can not find any proof of her name being "molsberger" that includes looking on the memorial you made for her that references a 3rd memorial you got the info from. I looked at that memorial and it has no info on it. I also saw you had taken the picture from my memorial, ( that I had actually went to that cemetery and walked it, photographing each stone) and added to your memorial...now I dont want to sound mean but asking me to delete my memorial and stealing my picture....maybe you should rewright your bio or consider removing that headstone picture....
Thanks.. great resource!!

Sorry if I am being dense.. How do you know that Isaac is buried in that cemetery if you could not find grave?

I notice that you have taken time to document my ancestors graves in Newark Union. Thank you! I lived on Faulk and Weldin Rds and never knew that cemetery was there .. let alone that my ancestors were there.
Wondering about those that you added without photosensitive.. such as Isaac Weldin. Is the stone unreadable? Is there a plot map that documents were his grave is?

So glad I could make your day; you deserve that & more for your selfless actions. You've surely got some good karma coming your way!
My mum will be 91 years young next month, & she is thrilled that her brother-in-law is "found," lol, and now is recognized here on the web with his family. It just means a lot to us!
Thank you for transferring over his memorial, too. I just put up his pictures, yay!
Again, many thanks, bless you, & I wish you all the best!

Thank you so much for adding my Uncle Richard H. MacKay's memorial earlier this month!
I've been looking for his resting place for over a year. He was one of 7 brothers who all served in World War II except for the youngest boy who served in Korea and Vietnam. What luck that I just ran my search again & you came along like an angel and just recently entered his record! Now my Dad & all of his brothers are here on FindAGrave, finally.
I can't even express how thrilled I am, but please know that my family and I are so grateful to you! Even more exciting to see a picture of his marker, too.
Thanks for volunteering, and for all of your time and efforts to help this community.

I hope he shares with his family and cousins, of which I am one.
