RE: Crain / Gerstenschlarger
Yeah, I prefer good sunlight for my photos, and definitely having the sun above or behind me, not the stone. However, the first time I went to Mueller Hill in April it had became pretty cloudy by the time I got there. I couldn't help it though, I had to go ahead and take what I could find since it's become a pretty long drive for me since I moved. Later after I got home when I was looking at them on the computer I discovered that Minnie's photo was slightly out of focus. I just can't bring myself to use a sub-par photo, so I had to re-take it. The day that I went back, the sun was out in full force! So, now her photo doesn't match the rest of the family! :)

You're welcome! Yes, you can use the photos for your Ancestry.com family tree. Thank you for the credit.

I just uploaded the photo for Minnie Gerstenschlager tonight to finish them off. The original photo I took on April 18th was out of focus, I discovered when I got home. So, I had to re-take it later. Because of that, Minnie is now the only one that has bright sunlight. Oh well, what can you do? :)

RE: Frank & Roxanna Melvin
Hi
Well they have a stone. The Melvin gravestone is meant for the entire family. Jeremiah's name was etched on the right side of the stone, Henry on the left, Roxanna should be on the front, Frank either on the back or sharing one of the sides with his father or brother. Sadly, no one has ever added Roxanna or Frank to the stone.

It's fine to use my photos on Ancestry. I'm a family historian too.

Have a great day!
