I am a Disabled New Rochelle Police Detective and former Marine with an interest in History. I believe that one must not forget the past and those who have past on. I have heard that every tomb stone tells a story and I am finding this to be true. If you find any errors on my interments, please feel free to E-Mail me.
I have started a Project I am calling Operation "Never Forget" I am attempting to enter US Military Veterans in all the cemeteries I visit in the NY/CT metro area.
If anybody out there is interested in helping, just drop me an E-Mail.

Commodore Edward Preble #7550250 Was wondering if you could add relationship links to this famous memorial. I have added memorials for Commodore Edward Preble's father, Brigadier General Jedidiah Preble, Sr. (#64550070) and his mother, 2nd wife, Mehitable Roberts (Bangs) Preble (#64554531) and would appreciate it if you could add these relationship links. If this isn't possible, please just drop me a response. Thanks.
I am a descendant on the 1st wife's side, Martha (Junkins) Preble (#64553116). Our family has a letter addressed to my great grandfather, James Philander Preble (#43412152) from George Henry Preble, nephew of Commodore Edward Preble.
I see you created a memorial page for Simeon Brady Jr. and also added a headstone photo. I was in Ivandell and was uploading other Brady's and happened to take the headstone shot myself. However, when I got home and checked the memorial page, I see that the stone is different! I believe it is the same person (the dates match) so I'm not sure what happened here (maybe the original stone was replaced to better match the several others in the plot?). Anyway, I uploaded my picture and wanted you to know so that you can make a decision as to whether to keep both shots or to delete one. If you would like me to delete mine, just send me a note and I will.
